It’s easy to eat unhealthy and miss those mobility sessions once you’re away from home. Traveling, regardless how far, can throw the whole training and taper routine off track. Athletes need that for acclimatization, registration, gear set up, etc. With all the focus on the race it’s easy to forget that there are at least a couple of days between arriving and the race itself.
